B.tech - Information Technology

Information technology (IT) is the branch of engineering dealing with the use of computers and telecommunications, developing and maintaining systems as well as retrieving, storing and transmitting information.

Owing to historic growth of IT sector, this branch was added just about a decade back and since then has captured imagination of all youth. With demand for IT professionals on increase, IT parks coming up in all important cities, this has become a strong option for a high career growth and attractive pay package. The course trains you to design and develop information systems, create, manage and maintain complex network, develop IT solutions for complex problems.

Admission Procedure

  • UPSEE seats (85% seats), through counseling of UPSEE-09.
  • Management seats (15% seats), below is the eligibility criteria:

Eligibility

For admission to B.Tech courses, the candidate must have minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 from any recognized board/university.

Preference will be given to the following
  • Candidates who have appeared & qualified UPSEE
  • Candidates who have appeared & qualified AIEEE
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with PCM, scoring minimum 60% marks (Management seats).

Fees Structure

Fees for all Courses will be charged as approved by regulatory bodies.
