Master of Computer Application (MCA)

The MCA Programme is recognized by AICTE, Ministry of HRD and is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. It aims to provide a sound theoretical background and good practical exposure to students. The curriculum includes various aspects of algorithm design, computational theory, programming and optimization, network and database management, electronics, mathematics, probability, mobile technologies, accounting, statistics and finance.

The 3 year curriculum has been divided into 6 semesters. Semesters 1st to 5th shall include lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars as defined in the schemes of instructions and examinations issued by the University from time to time. Semester 6th will exclusively be devoted to practical training in the industries/organizations in which students shall be required to work on the projects assigned by industries/organizations.

To make this programme interactive and informative, College plans to invite leading personalities from the IT industry who would regularly address the students on latest developments in IT area. Apart from this the students would get an opportunity to attend lectures delivered by leading management experts, getting exposed to both technical and additional management inputs in Finance, Organizational Behavior, HR and Marketing.

Seminars will be organised in areas of Finance, Marketing, and Project Management, to supplement the normal MCA inputs.

UPTU has signed an Agreement with Florida International University-Chapman Graduate School of Business for a dual degree program between UPTU and FIU. Under this scheme, any MBA degree holder of UPTU or final year MBA students, who secure 70% marks or above in MBA programme with a TOEFL or 550 or more can seek admission to FIU's Master of International Business program, which is rated among top 25 International Business programs in USA and top 15% globally.

Foundation Course

The objective of Foundation Course is largely related to enhance basic skills and knowledge levels of students coming from different graduate streams. To induce self learning of basic subjects, a combination of internet and audio-video or print based methodology is adopted. This facilitates the skills required to begin a journey with the B-school and the corporate world. It is expected that students would complete the foundation course diligently, in order to prepare themselves for the academic year.

B.Tech - Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. It is one of the oldest engineering disciplines, since civil engineers of one form or another have been around ever since humans started building major public works such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and large public buildings. It is also an incredibly broad discipline, spanning treatment of environmental issues, transportation, power generation, and major structures.

The infrastructure boom, not only in India, but also across the world has resulted in a lot of major projects like construction of roads, buildings, dams, bridges, tracks, environmental works etc. So the demand for qualified civil engineers has become very high and will remain so in the coming years. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)

The B.Sc. (Honours) Biotechnology Programme is affiliated to Bundelkhand University and is recognized by state government. Biotechnology is one of the most rapidly growing fields of applied science, having applications from the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions to enhancement of food production.

The three year degree of B.Sc. (Honours) Biotechnology is designed to give you the knowledge and skills that will enable you to take full advantage of opportunities that will ensue from the expansion of this area. The main focus of the course will be on 'molecular biotechnology', which includes the themes of molecular biology, immunology, and bioinformatics. Although there will be an emphasis on laboratory-scale biotechnology, the course will foster an awareness of its applications e.g. food production, livestock breeding, medicine, and production of renewable fuel.
